items instead of older “bug-eye” fixtures in your drywall ceiling. We have
received simply the alternative: the code-compliant Recessed Drywall Emergency
Mild, a metal battery unit that’s nearly fully recessed into your
ceiling.

Building

The battery backbox of the RDEL-6-18-2-9W is unfinished metal and contains
torsion hangers and adjustable mounting arms. A metal plate under the
ceiling line holds the Par36 heads and is powder coated with a white
baked-on end. For periodic UL-mandated testing, a push-button check
swap on the underside of the housing permits upkeep personnel to shortly
verify the operational standing of the fixture and lamp load. Above the
swap is a twin diagnostic LED show indicating AC/ON and Excessive Cost.
